Friends of Hokitika Primary School ~ FOHPS

We are very fortunate to have a passionate and energetic fundraising group: 'Friends of Hokitika Primary School' - FOHPS. 

We would like to thank all of our incredible members, and also extend thanks to local businesses who have donated generous prizes for our raffles over the years.

FOHPS provides many extras for our tamariki that our school budget doesn’t provide such as classroom digital devices, Duffy Boof Club Membership, sports equipment, stationery items and more.

Everyone is welcome to be part of FOHPS, it is an excellent way to meet people and become involved in the school. We try to keep the meetings short and usually involve food! If you would like to get involved or just want to meet new people – come along!

We will meet once every 3 months to collect ideas and welcome anyone who would like to help.

The role of FOHPS is to:

Encourage and support communication between home and school

Help build a sense of community at Hokitika Primary School

Raise funds through school events and promotions so we can supplement funds received from school donations & Ministry of Education grants
